Job Description: Networks Incident Manager
£26K + 10% bonus + Allowance
A Professional and Managed Services Networks Specialist and Telecoms giant seeks a Technical Incident co-ordinator to ensure timely and expert resolution of business critical Cisco based infrastructure outages within contractually agreed service level agreements.
You will be the point of contact between client, 3rd party suppliers and 1st/2nd line support functions in the business and will take ownership and management responsibility for priority technical issues from initial incident report through to resolution. You will co-ordinate resource to resolve the incident and maintain records of such technical issues to ensure incident avoidance longer term and the development of an ever greater capacity and speed in dealing with incidents.
Ideally we would like CCNA level candidates as there may be outages that you can investigate and deal with yourself.
You will need excellent communication skills and must demonstrate a pro-active approach as you will take on the challenge of guiding key clients of the business through technical services interruptions that could be critical to their business operations and function.
