Job Title: Field Sales Executive
Job Description: Our client is a global leader in veterinary practice management software. They are known for their fantastic range of products and for being a true innovator in the market. The team is growing and an exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team as a Field Sales Executive for the North West, North East & some of Scotland.
In this role you will engage veterinary customers in all sales related activities and responsibilities. You will be responsible for acquiring new business as well as nurturing existing clients.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell Practice Management System software, including the necessary hardware, software, services, and lab instruments for integration, within assigned territory.
Manage time, territory and distributor relations.
Maintain sales forecast and territory plan, including with distributor management and representatives, within the geographical territory.
Initiate and coordinate lead generation with company colleagues
Complete sales administration responsibilities, including developing and maintaining account profiles; utilization of sales information system; timely sales information reporting; and timely and accurate paperwork completion.
Partner with Sales Specialists and Business Development Consultants providing technical expertise to Consultants and customers as required.
Participate in team activities and discussions as needed with Regional Sales Manager and team, marketing, and distribution management and representatives.
Achieve and continually build technical knowledge of products and services, technologies, operation and processes.
Attend trade shows and other educational commitments;
Represents company values to customers through professional presentation, understanding of the veterinary business and of customer needs, and excellent communication and follow through. THE CANDIDATE:
Field sales experience
Sales experience within software sales is preferred but not essential.
Proven business development and account management experience, having been successful in a '360' sales role. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Solid analytical skills with the ability to analyse and understand customer sales data.
Knowledge of veterinary industry and/or veterinary diagnostics preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license. EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific or related discipline preferred; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, but no essential.
